President Trump’s executive order is the topic du jour — especially for the progressive socialist left — and what was up with those fake tears from Senator Chuck Schumer? Could the Trump executive order on travel have been executed better? Absolutely.
However, the disingenuous rhetoric about a “Muslim ban” or a “religious test” is quite deceitful, and should be classified as fake news.
Let’s be honest, the seven countries listed were referred to by Barack Obama as “terrorist hot beds.” We have the left going apoplectic with emotional and heartbreaking stories, but where was the emotional response for the carnage forced on Christians in the Middle East? Where was all the outrage over the rapes and sexual assaults against women in Germany? The time for cherry-picking feigned outrage must come to an end.
As we reported recently, here is the list of sixteen countries that refuse Israeli passports: Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. As well, Iran, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen do not allow entry to anyone with evidence of having traveled to Israel. So, in other words, I am banned from traveling to these countries, since my passport has record of travel to Israel. So, why am I, or anyone else, being banned? Is it because I’m a University of Tennessee graduate?
So let me get us back in balance, as we have militant Islamic issues right here in America, for which a travel ban matters little. As reported by The Algemeiner, “The Temple University chapter of the anti-Israel group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) paid tribute [last] Thursday to the late founder of a notorious terrorist group on the eighth anniversary of his death. “ Rest in power, George Habash,” the Philadelphia school’s SJP tweeted, in honor of the Palestinian Christian who created the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). “As long as you are still fighting in defense of your dignity and for your occupied land, all is well.”
Habash, described by Time magazine as the “godfather of Middle East terrorism,” was forced to resign as head of the PFLP in 2000, due to ill health. He died in 2008. Founded in the late 1960’s, the PFLP was behind a series of deadly attacks, such as the July 1968 hijacking of an El Al flight from Rome to Tel Aviv, in which 21 passengers and 11 crew members were held hostage for 39 days. In 2014, the terror group claimed responsibility for the Jerusalem synagogue massacre, in which four Jewish worshipers and a Druze Israeli policeman were murdered — and seven others wounded — by two terrorists using knives, axes and guns to carry out the deed. This is the latest example of SJP support for terrorism.”
Recently we shared a story about the SJP chapter in New York City and their leaders’ support for the Palestinian terrorist responsible for the deaths of four IDF Soldiers — two had dual American citizenship, three were female. They were run over by a large vehicle, and to ensure his nefarious deed was guaranteed, the driver backed up over their dead bodies.
So we have this focus on the people traveling into America from these “terrorist hot beds” while we have Islamic terrorist-sympathizing hot beds on many of our college and university campuses. What I truly find disturbing is the lack of intellectual honesty emanating from the progressive socialist left.
We’ve stated this before on these pages, and will do so again: there is an unholy alliance and collusion between progressive socialists and Islamo-fascists. If there’s one thing that unifies them it’s this sense of anti-Semitism, along with their desire to have complete control, and shutting down any type of opposition voice.
The fact that we have George Soros and the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) joining forces, along with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) should tell us something. The Women’s March on DC had as its leader a woman by the name of Linda Sarsour — we wrote about her background here — which anyone can easily ascertain is not supportive of the fundamental principles of our Constitutional Republic.
We need to have a serious lesson in civics here in America, there is no constitutional right to enter this nation. No, I do not believe we should lower ourselves to the despicable behavior of the aforementioned sixteen countries…all of which are majority Muslim nations.
This whole episode from last week Friday to today is a sad reminder that we are becoming a nation of dhimmis…if you don’t know what that means, look it up. We in Western civilization are making ourselves subservient and submissive. We are creating false narratives enabling Islamic jihadist propaganda — you know, we need to shut down GITMO as a recruiting tool.
Damn, in Saudi Arabia non-Muslims are not even permitted in Mecca or Medina. Can you imagine if someone were to say, Muslims are not allowed in Washington DC? Yes, we are liberty-loving people, but can we EVER get to the point where we stop sticking a hot poker into our own eyes?
I saw a sign by some protester that said, “we are all Muslims now” — nah, not me. I’m an American, born and raised in Georgia, a Christian, and proud to be. Obama classified that as “crude nationalism.” Then what does one call the sixteen countries who tell Israelis, or anyone who’s traveled to Israel, you’re banned from entry?
Shall I remind you: “When tolerance becomes a one way street, it leads to cultural suicide.”
