As you may know, I grew up in Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward neighborhood — it is a inner city community. It’s also a community that produced Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and graduates from its famed David T. Howard High School such as the New York Knicks’ Walt “Clyde” Frazier and Atlanta’s visionary mayor, Maynard Jackson.
I recently shared with you reflections on the ol’ neighborhood during my visit to Atlanta for the 98th reunion of the Society of the First Infantry Division. I stayed at the downtown Hilton Atlanta, which is just nearby my community, and the Atlanta Civic Center, where my high school commencement took place.
I now reside in Dallas, Texas in a very nice neighborhood called Woodbridge. However Woodbridge is surrounded by one of Dallas’ toughest areas, and we are just a stone’s throw away from what I call the “hot corner” — Forest Lane and Audelia. Here in our little oasis we hear gunshots and on occasion the police helicopter flies overhead, searchlight shining down — last time was the Friday evening going into Independence Day weekend.
My wife and daughters get concerned, but I reinforce to them that the men and women of the Dallas Police Department’s Northeast Division will safeguard and protect us. And if anything were to happen, before they arrive — well, let’s just say we are well armed here.
I think I’m pretty qualified to address the recent events plaguing our nation. I have not lived some “silver spoon” existence.
Hillary Clinton just stated something that I find deeply offensive and patronizing.
As reported by Breitbart.com, “On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” presumptive Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated, “I’m going to be talking to white people. I think we’re the ones who have to start listening to the legitimate cries that are coming from our African-American fellow citizens,” and called for greater respect and protection for the police.”
I have no issue with her call for greater respect and protection of our law enforcement officials…I would also say we need to have greater respect for our rule of law and system of justice. I would also say we don’t need elected political officials who get a really bad case of diarrhea of the mouth — such as the governor of Minnesota and President Obama, who speak out of turn and ignorantly about episodes for which they do not have the facts.
As well, we now know the officer involved in the shooting in Minnesota is Asian or Hispanic, certainly not white, so the insidious and stupid comments from the Minnesota governor reflects someone ill-informed — or perhaps someone wanting to stoke the fires of a certain narrative for political purposes.
And speaking of disingenuous, insidious, and stupid rhetoric…this brings me back to the words of a true pathological liar, Hillary Clinton.
The last thing we need is for her to “talk with white people.” Mrs. Clinton cares little about the “legitimate cries” of the black community. What she does care about is a manipulative message of dependency and victimization.
Now, if she’s genuine, here are the legitimate concerns of the black community — which the Democrat party has never stood for, as they’ve been the party of slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, the Ku Klux Klan, lynchings, literacy tests, and poll taxes.
First Mrs. Clinton, the black community is tired of the industry of death and infanticide being located in our communities. Yes, Planned Parenthood — very tricky name – you see, since Roe v Wade in 1973, there have been some 13 to 15 million black babies killed. That is genocidal, and warrants attention.
However, we should not expect any “listening” from you, since you accepted an award named after the founder of Planned Parenthood, a known racist named, Margaret Sanger. For Ms. Sanger, black lives did not matter…don’t believe me, check out some of her statements – they’re easy to find.
The white people you will be talking to Mrs. Clinton, like Cecille Richards, ain’t listening. They are following Sanger’s mission, seeking to eliminate those “undesirables.” Funny Mrs. Clinton, I don’t recall you “listening” during the trial of one Dr. Kermit Gosnell.
Secondly Mrs. Clinton, when I was born back in 1961, the two-parent household in the black community was between 75 to 85 percent. In 1965, a Democrat president instituted a policy of providing government largesse, in other words a check, to women who have a child out of wedlock, regardless of how many. There was a caveat however: there can be no man in the house. Today Mrs. Clinton, only 24 percent of black children have both parents in the home — that is a very legitimate cry, resulting from Lyndon Johnson. And sadly, it was that fella who stated on Air Force One in 1963, “These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference… I’ll have them n!@#$%s voting Democratic for the next two hundred years.”
Well, Mrs. Clinton, we got 150 years to go, and it appears you’re doing your best to continue this cycle of dependency. White liberal progressives destroyed the foundation of the black community — the black family — that is a legitimate cry.
Third, Mrs. Clinton, I have not heard you discuss education choice for parents — something that Buck and Snooks West decided for me. Why is that?
As matter of fact, the so-called “First Black President,” Barack Obama, cancelled the D.C. school voucher program for deserving young minority children – of course his kids attend the prestigious school of one-percenters, Sidwell Friends.
Why, Mrs. Clinton, don’t you talk about school choice, vouchers, education savings accounts, charter schools, and home schooling? All of these would be of great benefit in the black community where the public school education system is failing young black children. And that means more unemployment and lack of better opportunities — does this represent a legitimate cry that needs to be heard, or are you just pandering, after all, you do carry around a bottle of hot sauce don’t you?
Lastly, Mrs. Clinton, are you going to increase small business development and flow of investment capital for black entrepreneurs? Look around ma’am in the black community, the unemployment, lack of business development, and overall sense of despair.
A welfare check doesn’t remedy that situation, but it does keep folks voting for you, as Alexis de Tocqueville stated: “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.”
This is the mantra of the new American Socialist Party, for which you are the presumptive nominee. Tell me Mrs. Clinton, will you implement urban economic empowerment zones, or just continue to proliferate urban economic enslavement?
Hillary Clinton, along with her fellow white liberal progressive cohorts and black liberal socialist modern plantation overseers, will never address these four points presented. What they want are victims; dependency.
The last thing they want are economically independent victors. Hence why they seized upon the opportunity to decry “racism” and whip the black community and the useful white idiots of the left into a frenzy of protest. And sadly, five Dallas police officers are dead because of their irresponsible politicized action…how many were shot and killed just last week, Independence Day weekend, in Chicago? Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are both from there — ever heard anything from them on that legitimate cry?
The black community has been duped by these white progressive socialists. And if you were to “follow the money” behind Black Lives Matter, chances are you’ll end up at the door of a white socialist named George Soros, a despicable man. He’d rather finance and foment division and a potential race war in America, than invest in better education opportunities for blacks.
But, what is sad, are the mindless lemmings of blacks who will follow the new plantation masters and allowed themselves to be enslaved, not by physical chains, but by the metaphysical and ideological agenda of enslavement.
There are countless numbers of blacks who see through this, and because of it we are denigrated, demeaned, and disparaged with the most ugly monikers — don’t believe me? Just check out the comments section.
Regardless, neither I nor my wife Angela and our daughters will be victims of white liberal progressive socialists. We are victors. We are the true embodiment of the man with whom I share the same neighborhood, Martin Luther King Jr.
And I wonder if Hillary Clinton would listen to his legitimate cries?
